How did you get into cosplay?
I have always been into “dress-up” and creating. I also love acting and performing. Cosplay is kind of all of that! I get to be the characters I grew up adoring for a weekend or an appearance at least ;)!
Who was your 1st cosplay and why?
STORM. She was one of the first “female” inspirations for me as a little girl – along with my mother, Wonder Woman and She-Hulk. All strong, beautiful women who the kind of role models I wanted – as opposed to all the Barbie dolls I had in my closet.
What do you geek out about?
STAR TREK. Have you seen my Trek Bunny “Uhura” cosplay?
When you’re not cosplaying, what do you enjoy doing for fun?
Working my body at the gym, taking dance classes, playing with my dog Tallulah, writing my next book — or sharing fitness workout moves, videos and tips with my fans on my various social media sites. Find me!!
What would your dream job be?
To be cast as STORM, TIGRA, or MS MARVEL in a MARVEL movie. A girl can dream!
What do you enjoy most about cons?
Meeting fellow nerds and fans of comic book and pop culture genre – the people who appreciate it all! It’s a lot of fun!
